Mutate IO Game Review

Mutate.io (mutatio should you choose) is a cooperative game that is similar to agar.io. You are the player of the blob that can be modified, fed, or grown, and used to attack the other.
This game was designed for the Pygame Community New Years jam (theme change: mutation), and I tried in the jam to get to know networking better and explore game development habits which I’m not used to (e.g. lesser global state).
At present, the only server available is that I’m using at: 34.76.77.52, which I’ll likely keep for about a month after release, maximum simultaneous clients permitted is 10.

Versions described:version 1.0.1 came out before the expiration of the jamversion 1.0.2 added some minor bugs fixes to the server.py file . This file was a result of unexpected disconnections of clients. disconnections”slim” versions compile versions that I’ve attempted to remove any folders or DLLs or directories that I do not think that you require in order to run the program. It is your responsibility to download the download.
